Lion Heart Chateau Wedding VenueWhen you think about weddings in West Virginia, you normally think of mountains, rustic scenerly and the rugged outdoors. And for the most part, the majority of my weddings have been based on that design concept. However, every know and then, I'll come across a bride and groom who want something different. My first wedding at the Lion Heart Chateau was in 2009. It wasn't the largest wedding I had planned, but it definitely was the grandest. I still remember my mouth dropping when my husgand and I drove up the private drive to get to the "castle" doors for our venue tour with our clients. I kept thinking... How is this in WV, and we never knew about it! Over the years, we've been blessed to both plan and cater weddings held at this gorgeous estate. And at the end of every event I look forward to sitting down with the owner, Mrs. Crist, at the end of the night just to chat about life and all things that are beautiful in the world. I think those are some of the best memories that I have working at this West Virginia Wedding Venue! I love the horse drawn carriages, the beautiful greens of the lawn, and the majestic feeling from the Greek statues that add a touch of elegance to any wedding. But I mostly love working with the amazing owners. Hands down, they are two of the sweetest people I have ever met, and they go above and beyound to ensure every bride feels like a princess in their castle.
