Ballroom Wedding Inspiration | Columbus Courtyard MarriottFloral design is becoming my jam! In 2019 we decided to add floral design and rental service to our offerings. And like anything I do, I want to learn as much as I can first before jumping right in. And if we’re being honest, I continue to learn and grow throughout the years because I believe in bettering myself in everything I do! That’s why one of my first “must-haves” with becoming a floral designer was to learn from the best. The Behind the Veil Floral Design workshop was amazing! To learn more about my experience at the workshop, read about it in this blog post. One of the amazing things about this workshop was the styled shoot. We all worked tirelessly to learn how to create beautiful floral bouquets and arrangements. And it was so rewarding to see these designs modeled and captured by the Columbus wedding photographer Comfort Photography. We were able to learn first hand the elements that make a magazine-worthy shoot as well as the details that go into executing and producing quality designs that capture the attention of our clients. Atosha shared her design style guide with the Facebook group as soon as she announced the workshop so that we would have an idea of what the styled shoot would produce. It’s so important to make sure that the images we would receive aligns with our own personal design styles. The colors- emerald green, coral, and gold- have been popular wedding colors for many seasons. They pair well with different design styles, but they especially work with when creating a luxurious wedding vibe.
